Close to 9 billion dollars have been invested in new commercial enterprises in the U.S. through the EB-5 Investment Program since the program was passed into legislation in 1990.
The EB-5 Investment Program allows foreign investors to fund projects in the U.S., which boost the U.S. economy, create jobs, and frees up capital for U.S. developers to work on additional projects.
Foreign EB-5 investment program applicants invest either 1 million dollars in a new commercial enterprise or $500,000 in a targeted employment area.
Nearly all the largest projects funded by EB-5 investors are located in or near Manhattan, but other major cities with large projects are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, and Los Vegas.
